Hey crew,

With Christmas just days away, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

There’s no sugar-coating it, retail in 2025 has been tough. The cost of living is outrageous, and discretionary purchases like bikes naturally take a back seat when people are making hard choices. That’s the reality.

So when you choose to spend with Day Zero, it genuinely means something to us. You’ve trusted us with your hard-earned dollars, and you’ve made us proud to represent and sell YT bikes in Australia & New Zealand.

We’ve also been lucky to have exceptional support from our distributor partners this year, brands and people who back what we’re building and help us deliver great gear at the sharpest possible prices.

One of the highlights of the year has been meeting so many of you at events, bike parks, and trails, and helping guide you toward the right gear at the right price, not just selling product, but making sure it actually suits how and where you ride.

Looking ahead to 2026

A few predictions from our side:

• Bikes are not getting cheaper.

• Discounts will be fewer and further between as manufacturers align supply with lower global demand.

• The NZ dollar remains weak, meaning landed costs are significantly higher than what you see advertised overseas.

• Expect incremental changes, not massive tech leaps.

In short: 2025 in-stock bikes represent the best value you’re likely to see for some time.
