The name SZEPTER symbolizes taking control, helping the rider conquer the trail ahead. The SZEPTER CORE 2 is no exception to this ethos, and in classic gravity-greedy YT Industries style, it's fit for the task. Nothing falls short at this price point – the Shimano GRX drivetrain, DT Swiss G1800 wheels, and Suntour GVX 32 fork combine to create an undeniably fun gravel experience.

Mountain Bike Inspired Geometry
Crucial to solving the gravel-bike puzzle is geometry. The SZEPTER takes notes from our class-leading mountain bikes and features a long reach measurement, short stem length, and a 69° head angle to instill confidence on technical terrain.

YT HeadBox
An all-new design unique to the SZEPTER, this distinct feature delivers superior precision on technical terrain, improving front wheel tracking through rocks, roots, and other obstacles.

Wide Tyre Clearance
When riding in poor conditions, traction is crucial. With room for up to a 700 x 45mm tire, the SZEPTER supplies endless grip in the wet and comfort over longer distances.

Ultra Modulus Carbon Frame
Sharing the same carbon fiber Ultra Modulus frame as the high-end CORE 3 & 4 models, the CORE 2 holds nothing back. Geometry figures put rider confidence in the foreground – a 69.3° head angle and 74.3° seat angle ensure stability on high-speed descents while providing an efficient position for technical climbing. The dropped seatstays are compliant to take the edge of prolonged pedaling efforts, and the ASTM 3 classification brings peace of mind when the route gets out of hand. Internal cable routing also features, including the ability to run a 31.6mm dropper post as a preference, and, if being utilitarian is your thing, every SZEPTER frame is equipped with four sets of rivets within the main triangle.

Performance Specification
A key design feature of the SZEPTER is the gravel-specific suspension fork, in this case, the Suntour GVX 32. It provides 40mm of suspension travel, rebound adjustment, and a lockout, allowing riders to dial in their settings and tame technical trails. Shimano’s latest gravel-specific GRX RX610 groupset features, including a 10-51T SLX cassette to assist in climbing steep gradients. DT Swiss provides the revered G1800 wheelset clad with WTB Resolute 42c tires, while Easton EA50 bars, an EA50 70mm stem, and an SDG Bel-Air 3.0 saddle round out the contact points.
