YT Drops the Full DECOY X CORE Range. And it's perfect!

YT has officially launched the full DECOY X CORE lineup, bringing the Avinox M2S motor platform into a four-bike range starting at just €4,499.

And yes, every single model gets the best-in-class M2S motor.

That means:

• 150Nm torque.
• 1300W peak power.
• No detuned “entry-level” version.
• No cut-down battery.
• No weak-spec compromise.

Just outright power across the entire lineup.

What Is the DECOY X CORE?

The DECOY X is YT’s aggressive full-power eMTB platform. Long travel, mullet setup, huge battery, big motor, and built to ride hard.

The platform carries over a lot of what riders already liked about the DECOY SN geometry, but this time the focus is very obvious:
more power, more range, more speed, more chaos.

Key platform specs:

• 170mm front / 160mm rear travel
• MX mullet wheel setup
• Avinox M2S motor
• Up to 150Nm torque and 1300W power
• 800Wh battery on every size from S to XXL
• Hydroformed aluminium frame
• Serious frame protection throughout

This isn’t YT dipping a toe into the “high power” category.
They’ve cannonballed straight into it.

Pricing

Here’s where things start getting interesting.

YT hasn’t just launched another premium eMTB.
They’ve launched a full-power Avinox bike lineup at pricing that’s going to make a lot of brands uncomfortable.

Model Euro Pricing NZ Pricing (inc GST)* AU Pricing (inc GST)*
DECOY X CORE 1 €4,499 $10,199 NZD $8,099 AUD
DECOY X CORE 2 €5,499 $12,499 NZD $9,899 AUD
DECOY X CORE 3 €6,499 $14,799 NZD $11,699 AUD
DECOY X CORE 4 €7,499 $16,999 NZD $13,499 AUD

* AUD and NZD pricing is subject to change.

But even allowing for currency movement, the direction is obvious:
YT is coming in hard on value.

The CORE Models

CORE 1

This thing is going to sell.
Hard.

Marzocchi Bomber suspension, SRAM drivetrain, solid wheels, proper geometry, massive battery, and the same M2S motor as the top bike.

For a lot of riders, this is the sweet spot.

CORE 2

The CORE 2 starts stepping into “serious bike” territory with FOX 38 suspension and a DHX coil setup.

This build looks aimed directly at riders who ride bike parks, smash rough terrain, and don’t want to immediately start upgrading parts.

CORE 3

Probably the sleeper in the range.

RockShox ZEB Ultimate.
Vivid Ultimate.
SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission.
Maven brakes.
DT Swiss HX 1700 wheels.

That’s a properly stacked build.

CORE 4

Full FOX Factory.
Top-level wheels.
Race-ready straight out of the box.

This is the bike for riders who want absolutely everything turned up to maximum.

Day Zero’s Take

There’s been a lot of noise around Avinox recently. Most of it justified.

The power delivery is wild, the weight numbers are impressive, and right now it feels like the entire eMTB industry is scrambling to respond.

But what makes this launch genuinely interesting isn’t just the motor.

It’s the pricing.

That’s the bit people shouldn’t ignore.

A few years ago, bikes with this level of power and spec would have landed deep into motorcycle-money territory.

YT has basically walked in and said:
“Nope. We’re doing this differently.”

And honestly, that’s probably why YT continues to build such a loyal following globally.
They build bikes riders actually want, price them aggressively, and avoid drowning everything in corporate fluff.

Simple.

Fast bikes.
Good spec.
Sharp pricing.
Ride the hell out of them.

Availability

The DECOY X CORE range is available for preorder now in Europe and the UK, with US availability expected later this year.
